DIY Calla Lily Wedding Invitations
We all hold one flower to our hearts as a favourite. My favourite flower is an Orchid. Orchids expensive, beautiful and rare. At my own wedding I arranged a lemon and white Orchid and Lily bouquet of flowers. The color theme for the church flowers and table top flowers were lemon and white orchids. Our Orchid Wedding Theme was carried on to our wedding cake.
An alternative to the Orchid could be the Calla Lily for your do it yourself wedding invites. There are a number of ways you can try to make your own handmade Calla Lily wedding invitations. A way to save money from your wedding budget would be by only using only one sheet of card. You can draw a couple of Calla Lilies around one of the edges of the top of a rectangle wedding invite card. Your wedding invitation wording will have enough space to be written.
You can save some money by using only one sheet of card. A Cala Lily would be a great flower to take a photograph of. After you have chosen your favorite photo. You can paste each photograph onto your wedding invitations after you have taken copies. Attach a white ribbon around the centre of the card. Your guests will not only have a beautiful wedding invitation but also a lovely romantic wedding card.
On the front of your wedding invitation your bouquet of Calla Lilies would look stunning. On one wedding card you can have a border of Calla Lilies going around one border. You could have a normal shaped card for your wedding invitation. The front of your diy wedding invitation could have a drawing of the flowers. A good idea would be to write the bride and grooms names underneath the bouquet. Once the invitations are opened by your guests . They will be able to see a bouquet of Calla Lilies on the left hand side with the wedding invitation words printed or written on the inside.
